Traveling by plane may feel different than it once did, but it still holds a special kind of excitement. I remember when families would get dressed up nicely for the flight, and that sense of occasion made the journey feel unique. Even though travel has become more casual, with passengers in pajamas and slippers, I like to think of every trip as a chance to bring a little bit of that old-fashioned charm and treat the airplane as more than just another room in the house.
